"I have known Dr. Ian Goodyer in a professional capacity for three years now. Since last year, he has been delivering one-to-one business support consultancy to members of the beepurple entrepreneurship network which I manage at the University of Brighton. He is extremely professional, and builds up a good rapport with the members he meets. He has an extensive knowledge of how businesses can progress and develop, for example around product and service commercialisation, protecting intellectual property, and raising finance; and has successfully supported and empowered many members of the network to develop their businesses. My clients always provide positive feedback about his work with them - I would recommend Ian without a doubt."

Ian provides one to one consultancy to our students who are starting-up or already working for themselves and is always able to offer practical, grounded business advice, as well as encouragement, to our students and graduates. The one to one sessions we organise are always fully booked and very well received by all."

Reydoog Consultancy Services has been contracted to regularly provide confidential 1 on 1 support to University of Brighton students, staff and alumni who are either thinking of setting up in business or who are currently trading. Every client has different requirements but generally, our guidance normally centres on business planning and marketing strategy, IP issues, whether the business should set up as a limited company or as a sole trader, providing information on the VAT system (how it works and whether company should register early) and the forms required by HMRC and Companies House. Reydoog Consultancy Services also use its extensive business networks across Brighton and East Sussex to refer the clients onto other organisations or individuals who can help to push their idea forward. Since starting this post 6 students / alumni have set up new Limited companies and over a dozen are now operating as sole traders in new ventures.
