FTI are specialists in providing pressure and vacuum valves to industry and academia. They have become very well respected in their area and add a lot of value by also providing a bespoke consultancy to their customers where they essentially design the solution for the customers and perform a lot of the assembly of the Pressure Vacuum system.
FTI Managing Director, Andrew Parker, informed me that he had ambitious plans to grow his business by over 20% annually over the next 3 years and I was tasked in assisting with the planning for this rapid expansion. We used our network to refer Andrew to an experienced business mentor, who has helped to focus the FTI sales effort and to a representative of the Manufacturing Advisory Service who was able to advise the client on Lean manufacturing procedures, ISO accreditation and the ideal layout for new premises for the company which are being planned. Reydoog Consultancy Services also highlighted and helped the client to prepare a pre-application for a SEEDA Grant for Business Investment (GBI award).
