"Ian was right on top of the case for us and helped enormously in getting some funding for a project."
Tom Bach
Owner of Sensatech
Sensatech are world leaders in the field of capacitive sensing (using distortions in an electric field to detect objects) and are developing a number of products based on this principle in a number of markets. The products range from simple or remote proximity switches to complex systems comprising sensing arrays offering multi dimensional outputs. Example applications include a fish sensor, a parking (reversing) aid for cars, a foot measuring system and a tooth decay detection device.
Helped the company raise funding thorugh a SEEDA R&D grant to develop an imaging system for a government department. Referred client to an opportunity to pitch to Glaxo Smith Kline, who were undertaking an open innovation exercise, about their tooth decay monitoring system.
