"Ian has provided some great support and advice relating to two of my most exciting development projects. His direction at the proof of concept phase of our ULTRaMo project has been extremely valuable."
Chrissi Wilkins
Owner & Founder of ULTRaMo
ULTRaMo is an internal combustion engine (ICE) capable of over 70% thermal efficiency. Compared to a standard combustion engine this means half the emissions per mile and twice the miles to the gallon - ULTRaMo will run on any fuel, not just petrol/diesel. The engine was invented by Nick Coates and the principle has been confirmed by Ricardo PLC and Professor Morgan Heikel Head of the Sir Harry Ricardo Laboratories, part of the Centre for Automotive Engineering at Brighton University.
We introduced the founders of the UltraMo engine to Richard Atkins, a combustion engine expert with over 40 years in the industry. Richard liked the idea so much that he has since joined the company as Chairman. Helped the company review their SEEDA Research and Development Grant.
ULTRaMo are now building a prototype of the engine with the practical help of Richard Atkins. Once proven, this technology has tremendous potential and could be ground breaking.
